Robert Wolf, Founder

Robert Wolf is the Founder of 32 Advisors, which provides advisory services to C-suites and boards of directors on transaction support, geopolitical risk, and corporate governance. He also leads 32 Ventures, the firm’s investment platform, which partners with founders from seed through growth stage to provide both capital and strategic guidance. 32 Ventures invests across consumer, media, technology, hospitality, and business services, leveraging the firm’s global network and operational expertise to help companies scale and create value.

Robert is a Founding Partner of North Iron Holdings, an industrial distribution services holding company; Chairman of Community, an AI-driven messaging software platform; and Chairman of environmentally friendly laundry care brand Defunkify. He previously co-founded and served as Chairman of Measure, an aerial intelligence company specializing in drone technology, which was acquired in 2021.

Prior to forming 32 Advisors, Robert spent 18 years at UBS, a global financial services firm, where he held several senior leadership roles, including Chairman and CEO of UBS Americas and President and Chief Operating Officer of the Investment Bank. He joined UBS in 1994 after spending a decade at Salomon Brothers.

Currently, Robert serves on the Board of Directors of the Obama Foundation, the Alumni Board of the Wharton School, and the Leadership Council of New York City’s Robin Hood Foundation. Beginning in 2025, he also serves as a Visiting Presidential Fellow at Suffolk University, where he teaches the honors course “Power, Policy, and Profit: Navigating Business in a Politically Charged World.” He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Partnership for New York City, and has served on the Democratic National Finance Committee for over a decade. Robert was recently named to New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s Inauguration Committee, previously served on former Mayor Eric Adams’ infrastructure transition team, and was a co-chair of New York City’s Democratic National Convention Host Committee under former Mayor Bill de Blasio.

Previously, Robert served as Vice Chairman of the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice & Human Rights and on the Economic Advisory Council for the Center for American Progress. He has also served on the boards of the Wharton Undergraduate Executive Board, Children’s Aid Society, the University of Pennsylvania Athletics Board of Overseers, the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, and the Financial Services Roundtable. He has been named multiple times to Worth magazine’s 100 Most Powerful People in Finance. In 2016, Robert joined Fox News and Fox Business as a contributor, where he appears multiple times per week.

Robert is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a B.S. in Economics. While at Penn, he played varsity football on Ivy League Championship teams in 1982 and 1983, was inducted into the Ivy Football Association Hall of Fame in 2013, and currently serves on the Penn Football Board. He received the Wharton Distinguished Alumni Award in 2014. In May 2024, Robert delivered the commencement address at Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Commercial Science.

Robert was born and raised in Marblehead, Massachusetts, where he is a member of the town’s Athletics Hall of Fame, and currently resides in Westchester County, New York.
